Rachel Wieberg Obituary

Rachel attended grade school at St. Thomas Catholic School and graduated from Helias High School in May 2005, eventually earning her Master's Degree in Nursing. She was both an accomplished board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse who was most recently employed by the home health care industry. Rachel's pride and joy were her two children along with taking trips to Myrtle Beach, Boston, and New York City with family and friends. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandma Hoecker. Rachel enjoyed crafting, baking pies for holiday dinners, and making her famous spaghetti which was a family favorite. She was an avid quilter who made beautiful quilts with painstaking detail.
Rachel's bright smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her parents; stepmother, Christie Mueller; children, Sophia and George Wieberg; brother, Garrett Mueller; niece and nephew, Annelae and Kylan Mueller; grandparents, Norman and Catherine Schroeder; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with her two cats Galaxy and Sharkey. Rachel was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pete and Betty Hoecker; paternal grandfather, Walter Mueller; cousin, Tanya Sue Blomberg, and her beloved dog Cowboy.
Friends and Family will be received on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the St. Thomas the Apostle School Gymnasium. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am officiated by Father Leonard K. Mukiibi in the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Cemetery.
