Ralph M. Beers Jr., 83, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday June 1, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side after a brief illness.
Ralph was born in Titusville on April 9, 1942, a son of the late Ralph M. Beers Sr. and Margaret Miller Beers. He married the love of his life Joyce E. Hall on October 10, 1964, in Titusville at the Breedtown Baptist Church. They would celebrate 61 years of marriage this year. Ralph devoted the past eight years of his life caring for Joyce.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
He worked as machinist for 38 years with ABEX (U.S. Bronze) and retired in September of 2005.
Ralph was a member of the Titusville Masonic Lodge No. 754 F&AM, Fraternal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 84, the Hill and Gulley Motorcycle Club of Blooming Valley and Saegertown Cub Scout leader.
He enjoyed being outdoors gardening, hunting, camping and spending time at Rooster Lake. He loved to travel all over the world, taking various trips outside the country. During the winter season he and Joyce enjoyed traveling to Arizona and Florida. Ralph was an avid collector, he loved belt buckles, coins, guns, antique tractors and John Deere of any kind.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Beers of Titusville; his two sons, David Beers and wife Janet of Guys Mills, Eric Beers and wife Kim of Saegertown; his grandchildren, Devin Beers and wife Kelly of Boswell, PA, Bryce Beers and wife Allison of Guys Mills, Tyler Beers of Saegertown, Nate Beers and significant other Missy of Saegertown; his great grandchildren, Landry Beers of Boswell, Mason Beers of Meadville, Barrett Beers of Saegertown, Berkley and Brenton Beers of Guys Mills; his brothers, Larry Beers and wife Karen of Dover, DE, Irvin "Stub" Beers and wife Beth of Titusville; his sister, Linda Fiely and husband Richard of Titusville; his step mother, Betty L'Huillier of Pleasantville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son Raymond Beers; his brother, Kenneth Beers; his sister, Evelyn Guntrum; and his parents in law, Glenn and Ethel Hall.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM, and on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Greg Dill officiating. Full military rites will be observed.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cherrytree Township.
