Ralph Leo Birschbach, age 95, of Mt. Calvary, passed away at the Hospice Home of Hope, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Ralph was born on April 11, 1930, to Walter & Antonia (Lauby) Birschbach. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Grade School and "Pete's" University.

Ralph served in the United States Army from August 9, 1951, until being Honorably Discharged on July 16, 1953.

Ralph married June Weber on September 5,1953, at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary. Ralph and June resided in Mt. Calvary their entire married lives. Their marriage was blessed with their son Andrew. June preceded him in death on November 6, 2021.

Ralph was fortunate to have the great ability to work with his hands. Following his service in the Army, he started working with his uncle, Harold Wagner, in carpentry. There after he established Ralph L. Birschbach General Contractor. His brother Paul was employed with him along with his son, Andrew, and numerous other family members and friends. In his later years, when he retired from construction, he was the maintenance man at Holy Cross Catholic Grade School in Mount Calvary. He also took on the task of making wooden lawn ornaments, framing many puzzles, tending to his flower gardens, and making sure his bird feeders were well stocked.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-Holy Cross Site in Mount Calvary, the Mount Calvary American Legion Abler-Engel Post 454, and the Fond du Lac Knights of Columbus. Ralph was a very proud Red Cross Blood Donor for many years.

Ralph is survived by his son, Andrew (Patricia) Birschbach of Chilton; his four grandsons: Lucas (Janis), Brett (Jennifer), Anthony (Allison) and Joseph (Rachel) Birschbach. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Betty Jane Costello, Gordon Birschbach, Rose (Dave) Faucher, Paul (Nancy Lee) Birschbach; his in-laws, Patricia Birschbach, Michelle Birschbach, Rita Weber; many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Walter & Antonia Birschbach; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Herman & Olive Weber; his siblings, Roger (MaryAnn) Birschbach, Henry Birschbach, Wayne Birschbach, Delores Ecker; his in-laws, James Costello, Barbara Birschbach, Sr. Elaine Weber, Luella (Joseph) Leitner, LeRoy Weber, Verna Mae Weber, Mary (Joe) Kohlman, Merle Weber, Dellene (Mike) Michels; and other family members.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-Holy Cross Site, 308 S County Road W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Paul Koenig, OFM Cap will officiate. Ralph will be laid to rest next to his loving wife June at the Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring.
