Ralph Elie was a beloved son, brother, a cherished friend, and respected colleague. Ralph was born on September 27, 1990, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he lived until the age of 13, along with his twin and younger sister. In Haiti, he was cherished by his relatives, including grandparents, aunts and uncles, several cousins, as well as friends and neighbors. He spent his formative school years in Ecole Jean Marie Guilloux, and later College Canado-Haitien. Ralph then moved with his family to Orlando, Florida in 2004, where he attended and graduated with Honors from Evans High School, and later participated in the Bridges Program at Valencia College. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Florida. Throughout his high school and college years, he demonstrated a strong work ethic, developed strong convictions, and cemented strong relationships. This served him well in his career, including in his leadership positions.
In addition, Ralph was passionate about fitness and traveling, loved watching anime, movies, and spending time with his friends. Beyond his professional and educational achievements, what made him stand out were his character, his personality, his resilience, his easy affection, and dedication to the people and things which he held dear.
On October 15, 2025, Ralph unexpectedly passed away. His loss has been a devastating blow to his relatives, chosen family and friends, and members of his community. He is survived by his parents (Yanick Geffrard and Serge Elie), his sisters (Fabienne and Lydia), his close circle, the Darius family and the Geffrard family. Though his time was too short, his impact remains long lasting. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and love that will forever remain in our hearts.
