Ralph J. Quinn Sr., age 87 of Reading, passed away in Fort Myers, Florida on April 19, 2024.

Ralph was born in Somerville, MA on June 25, 1936 and was the son of the late Francis and Catherine (Phillips) Quinn.

He was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. He continued his education and graduated from Suffolk University and Bentley College. He started his career with John Hancock; then brokered/operated his own independent insurance agency; Quinn Insurance Agency in Medford.

Ralph was an avid golfer and longtime member of Bear Hill Golf Club. He enjoyed scuba diving and attending family related sport events. As a Veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his beloved wife Ann M. (Auditore) Quinn. He was the loving father of Ralph J. Quinn, Jr. and his wife Darline “Dee” of No. Reading. He was the brother of Theresa Maillet and the late Francis Quinn. Grandfather of Markus Ghaderi and Christopher Quinn and Great-grandfather of Jacob Ghaderi.

His Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday April 30 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday April 29 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Interment, Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
