Ralph Ronald Stogsdill

Ralph Ronald Stogsdill, 76 of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at his home.
He was born on Friday, August 13, 1948 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Ralph E. Stogsdill and Ruby Martin Stogsdill. He was a 1967 graduate of Somerset High School where he played baseball skillfully as a pitcher and that years State Championship, Ralph continued his career as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Cooper Power Plant in Burnside until his retirement. He was an accomplished pool player, enjoyed driving around and being sociable with others. Ralph was a kind-hearted, generous and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but at the same time while enjoying his own quiet times. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Eagle Creek United Baptist Church in Parkers Lake, Kentucky. Ralph will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, Ralph and Ruby Stogsdill, he is preceded in death by a sister; Patricia "Patti" Stogsdill Abbott. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife; Lena Rose Stogsdill of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, four daughters; Heather (Clint) Keith of Bronston, Kelli (Derek) Jones, Lori Stogsdill and Fiance' (Jon Lawson) and Jessica (Kevin) Ireland, two sisters; Pauline Barnett and Phyllis Taylor all of Somerset, two step sons; Frank Rollins of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Arlin Rollins of Williamsburg, Kentucky, his grandchildren; Joshua Aaron Keith, Gabriel Isaac Keith, Michala Cheyene Keith and Leah Noel Keith, Natalie Coleman, Cody Smith, Reilly Smith, Ruby Smith and Aiden Morris, four step-grandchildren; Davia Branin, Jeremiah Vanover, Rosalina Castle, Kialyn Rollins and, two nephews; Mark Abbott and David Padgett and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, February 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co. & Crematory. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Clint Keith Officiating. Burial will be in the Eagle Creek United Baptist Church Cemetery, 2084 Highway 896, Parkers Lake, Kentucky.
