Typical of his era, Ramiro didn't have much schooling, however, he did gain a wealth of knowledge through his life lessons and hard work over his lifetime. Beginning his day before sunrise to tend to the livestock, work the land, and accomplish his farm chores, Ramiro understood responsibilities at an early age and how to appreciate the value of a dollar.
Living most of his life in Mexico, he and wife Maria moved to Pampa 10 years ago. Ramiro enjoyed reading a good book and going to the horse races when given the opportunity. He did bet a little for fun, but nothing extreme. His most cherished times were gathering with family and reminiscing about the good ol' days.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Velia Garcia and his parents.
Those who remain to carry on his legacy are his children, Jose Angel Garcia and wife Norma of Pampa, Osvaldo Garcia and wife Silvia of Pampa, Ramon Garcia and wife Nelda of Pancho Villa, Mexico and Dolores Garcia and husband Alfredo Vasquez of Chihuahua, Mexico as well as numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many extended family members who will all miss him dearly.
Celebration of Life Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel with Father Guadalupe Mayorga officiating.
