Después de jubilarse, Kike y su amada esposa Esther se mudaron a Lakeland en 1985, donde decidieron establecer su hogar después del retiro.
Esther acaba de fallecer 14 días antes que Kike, estuvieron casados durante 72 años. A Kike le sobreviven sus hijas Vilma y Grisel Sostre, su hijo Samuel Sostre, 13 nietos y 12 bisnietos.
Los servicios serán el jueves 14 de noviembre de 2024 en Gentry Morrison Funeral Homes, 1727 Bartow Rd., Lakeland, Florida 33801. El servicio de cuerpo presente será de 9 a.m. a 11 a.m., y la palabra a las 11 a.m., a cargo del Rev. Carlos A. Rodriguez-Sostre.
El entierro tendrá lugar en el Cementerio Nacional de Florida el viernes 15 de noviembre de 2024 a las 10:00a.m.

Ramon Sostre, also known as Kike, 98, resident of Lakeland, Fl passed away November 10, 2024. Kike was born on September 15, 1926, in Yabucoa and raised in Maunabo, Puerto Rico.
After retiring, Kike and her beloved wife Esther moved to Lakeland in 1985, where they establish their permanent home after retirement.
Esther just passed away, 14 days before Kike, and they were married for 72 years. Kike is survived by his daughters Vilma and Grisel Sostre, his son Samuel Sostre, 13 grandchildren and 12 grand grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Gentry Morrison Funeral Homes, 1727 Bartow Rd., Lakeland, Florida 33801. Visitation from 9 AM-11 AM, service at 11 AM, officiating Rev. Carlos A. Rodriguez-Sostre.
Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00 A.M.
