Mona was born in Evansville on June 18, 1955. She worked in area nursing homes for many years as a healthcare worker. Caring for others came naturally to Mona. She was outgoing, kind, and nurturing and loved her children very much.
Surviving Mona are a son, David Kissel and daughter, Angie Kissel, as well as several grandchildren.
Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Maday and by a daughter, Michele Tucker, both in 2019.
Graveside services for Mona will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana.
