Randolph Greene Obituary
Randy was born on October 7, 1966 in Miami, Florida to Ruby (Hicks) Greene of East Stroudsburg. His family relocated from Miami, Florida to Stroudsburg, PA in 1968. He was a lifelong resident of Stroudsburg.
He was a member of The Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Stroudsburg.
He graduated from Stroudsburg High School in 1985. Randy was an outstanding athlete especially on the football field as a star running back. He was awarded a scholarship and attended Eastern New Mexico University. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a Minor in Criminal justice from East Stroudsburg University.
Randy started his career in criminal justice with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and he transitioned his career aspirations to serve juveniles in the Juvenile Justice System; currently he was a substitute teacher in the East Stroudsburg Area School District. He also owned and operated a landscaping company.
Randy walked this earth as a gentle man with a fierce devotion to all those who came to know him. He was larger than life. He will be greatly missed and until we meet again, we love you.
In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by his sons, Jaden Greene of East Stroudsburg and RJ Coke Greene of Effort. His brothers George L. Greene, J. Jermaine Greene Sr. and his wife Lisa; and his loving sister Cynthia Greene-Wimmer all of East Stroudsburg; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Raheem J. Greene
He is indeed celebrating a grand reunion with his son and family members that have gone before him.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
A celebration of life will be held at The Wesleyan Church, 915 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg on Monday October 24, 2022 from 9:00am to 10:00am; followed by reflections from family and friends until the time of the prayer service at 11:00am with Father Nicholas J. Solak officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for a scholarship fund for his son, Jaden Greene in care of the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360

RIP "My Stutterbox" our personal nickname shared only with 3, you me & Ku... Going to miss you. We grew up together as family from young age of 7.. So sad to have to say goodbye like this! However God always knows what's best, SIP now fam.

Randy was full of life! In school you would see him walking around or in class with the biggest smile - ear to ear! Didn't matter who you were, Randy made sure to say "hi"! Our prayers are with the entire Greene family.
