MORTON – Randy Paul Blaudow, 75, of Morton, Illinois, passed on August 11, 2025.
He was born on October 9, 1949, in Champaign, Illinois, to Ralph and Bessie (Rhoades) Blaudow. He married Mary Hickle on August 27, 1976, in Mahomet, Illinois.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary Hickle Blaudow, and two children, Brent (Jenny) of Elgin, Illinois, and Emily (Chris) Reynolds of Clarksville, Tennessee. He also has two wonderful grandchildren, Cael and Paige Blaudow. Randy also leaves behind a brother, Dick (Brigitte) Blaudow of Hilliard, Florida, and brother-in-law, Fred (Edith) Hickle of Tucson, Arizona, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ralph and Bessie Blaudow; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Geraldine Hickle; sister-in-law, Susan Bishop; and brother-in-law, Matt Hickle.
He graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 1968 and served in the US Navy from 1968-1972.
He worked hard his entire life, finishing his career at Advanced Technology Services in Peoria, Illinois.
Randy lived large. He loved his Harleys and enjoyed his Corvettes. Being on the water in his many boats brought him so much joy. Randy loved to water ski and patiently taught many his special techniques.
A memorial service for Randy will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Morton Methodist Church in Morton. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morton Methodist Church, 420 N. Tennessee Ave., Morton, Illinois 61550.
