Randy Pitzer was born on August 30, 1961 in Marshalltown. He was the son of Burke Pitzer and Shirley (Cheville) Gohring. Randy went to Marshalltown High School. He enjoyed speed skating, carpentry, playing foosball, watching racing and spending time with friends.
Randy is survived by his daughter: Brittany (Sayer) Peterson of Story City. Grandchildren: Wyatt and Maggie Peterson. Siblings: Del Fisher, Rose Johnson, Ronnie Gohring, Mike Gohring and Jerry Gohring. Randy is preceded in death by his parents: Burke and Shirley.
