It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Randy James Rankin, a cherished husband and friend, who departed this life on June 24, 2025, at the age of 45 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on August 18, 1979, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late Randolph Rankin and Judy Coleman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Donna’s son, Christian Tirak, Randy’s best friend, and sister, Yolanda Rankin.
Randy graduated from Central High School. He loved to cook, work on cars and fix things around the house. He enjoyed gaming on his PlayStation, going to movies and watching TV. He and Christian made many videos. Randy even starred in a few movies. Randy worked at Bello's Market and at Serafini's Restaurant.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Donna Rankin; his extended family: Donna’s former spouse, Richard L. Tirak, Mary Tirak, Lita Tirak and Kyle Tirak and his sisters, Maria Peavy (Stacy), Jennifer Rankin and Julie Rankin.
