Randy Glynn Whitley, 59, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on November 11, 2024. He was born on February 23, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, to Robert Whitley and Barbara Frost.
Randy was known for his big heart and infectious spirit. He had an undeniable love for people and would go out of his way to help a friend in need, always willing to give the shirt off his back. His warmth and generosity made everyone he met feel like family. Randy had a carefree and adventurous side, living life like a true cowboy, always up for fun and ready with a joke or a smile. He was cherished by many, and his legacy of kindness and loyalty will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Randy is survived by his daughter; Shyann Whitley of Mabank, Christine Costello of Pennsylvania; mother, Barbara Frost of Greenville; brother, Robby Whitley and wife Brenda of Mesquite, Jeremy Whitley of Livingston; sisters: Danita Whitley Drumm of Greenville, Darla West of Corsicana, Melissa Walters of Normangee; grandchildren: Landon and Legend; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Whitley: and his son, Randy Dale Whitley.
A memorial service will be held to honor Randy's life at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills, Texas, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
