Raul Antonio Moradel Jr., a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, in Kenner, LA. Born on June 30, 1984, in New Orleans, LA, Raul's infectious smile and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew him. He was a man of integrity and honor, whose legacy will be remembered by many.

Raul was the beloved son of Raul Moradel, Sr. and Lourdes Mencia Moradel. He was a guiding light in the life of his adored daughter, Ava Moradel, who was the apple of his eye. His brothers, Jose Moradel (Stacy) and Jeffrey Moradel, will fondly remember Raul's unwavering support and brotherly love. He was a cherished grandson to the late Elvia Reed, the late Ada Marina Moradel, the late Jose Ramirez Soto, and the late Rene Mencia. His aunts and uncles, Gabriella Laitano (Leonard Cline), David Laitano, Arturo Mencia (Lourdes), Ricardo Mencia (Sara), and Daisy Rosales (William), will miss his warm presence at family gatherings.

Raul's nieces and nephew, Kadence, Mila, and Kai Moradel, will hold dear the memories of their fun-loving uncle. His numerous cousins, including Isabella Laitano, David Shockley, Michael Vance, Alexis Vance, Leonard Cline, Ricardo Mencia Jr., Melania Mencia, Andrea Mencia, Rene Mencia, Vannesa Mencia, Arturo Mencia Jr., and Alejandra Mencia, will remember Raul for his kindness and the joy he brought to their lives.

A proud graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School and the University of New Orleans, Raul excelled in his studies and formed lifelong friendships. His professional life was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit; he was a successful realtor with United Real Estate, the owner of NOLA Home Properties, and the CEO and Owner of RAM Renovations. Raul's dedication to his work was only surpassed by his commitment to his clients and employees, whom he treated like family.

Raul's service as a proud Marine in the U.S. Marine Corps was a testament to his love for his country. His bravery and discipline were evident in all aspects of his life, and his military values deeply influenced his personal and professional endeavors.

Raul's zest for life was contagious. He approached every day with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude that inspired those around him. His absence will be deeply felt, but the memories he created will continue to bring comfort and smiles to those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

As we bid farewell to Raul Antonio Moradel Jr., we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. His spirit, love, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his remarkable presence. Raul's journey on earth may have concluded, but his story will be told for generations to come.
