Raymond J. Bedard, 66, of Lebanon, Connecticut, formerly of Montville, passed away on June 22, 2025. Born on March 2, 1959, he was the eldest son of Raymond F. and Rose M. Bedard of Uncasville.

He was predeceased by his father, Raymond F. Bedard, and leaves behind his beloved mother, Rose M. Bedard; the love of his life and best friend, Diana Bedard; and their cherished canine companions, Maggie and Ziggie. He is also survived by his brother, Robert D. Bedard, and Robert's partner, Jennifer Jones White, two sons and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Montville High School, Class of 1977, Ray began his career at Electric Boat before transitioning to a managerial role in the Hartford Courant's warehouse, where he worked for over a decade. In 2001, he and Diana began building his lifelong dream of becoming a successful real estate entrepreneur, a journey he pursued with dedication and pride.

Ray had a passion for life and a wide array of interests. He enjoyed southern rock and live music, riding ATVs and snowmobiles, fishing, relaxing by the ocean, and savoring the simple pleasures of country living in Lebanon. Known affectionately as "Fairway Ray," he was an avid golfer who took great joy in refining his game. He also appreciated the occasional glass of Jack Daniels among friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, June 27th, from

6:00m to 8:00 p.m. at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville. In true Ray fashion, guests are encouraged to "come as you are" and share stories in a casual, heartfelt setting-no formal attire necessary.

Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
