Raymond Blakely "Blake" Boyles, born on September 15, 1961, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
In his early years, Blake served as an E-5 Sergeant in The Marine Corps from 1980 to 1989, a period that instilled in him values of discipline and service. His dedication to his country reflected his strong character and commitment to those he loved.
Blake was a person who cherished the simple joys of life. He had a profound love for nature, often found fishing or camping, and he enjoyed spending time at the beach and in the mountains with his family. His faith in God guided him through life and was a cornerstone of his existence, shaping his relationships and interactions with others. He worked as a permit regulation specialist for over 25 years with Chevron and Shell oil companies
He leaves behind his cherished children: Brad Boyles (Nikki), Bailey Boyles, Bryce Boyles, Briana Boyles, and Brennan Boyles. Blake was also a devoted grandfather to Rayne Boyles and Zyron Bowen who brought him immeasurable joy and laughter as well as his sister, Sabrina Boyles, and brother, Johnny Hugh Boyles Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hugh Boyles Sr., and mother, Georgia Boyles Canton.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on January 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Holy Trinity Mandeville, Louisiana 70471.
