Raymond C. Goss, 22, of Saltillo, PA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Born on August 26, 2002, in Huntingdon, PA, Raymond was the beloved son of Raymond "Joe" and Jamie Goss. He was a devoted father to his two children, Easton and Oaklynn, and was engaged to his fiancée, Brianna Houp.
Raymond is also survived by his brothers, Sylar and Jaymen Goss; his grandparents, Raymond L. & Jolene D. Goss and Mable M. Lindemeyer & James F. Mitchell; and his great-grandmother, Joanne B. Shetrom. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents C.A. Shetrom, Raymond & Anna Goss, Ferhn & Geraldine Miller, and Charles & Catherine Mitchell.
Raymond was passionate about racing and cherished time spent with his family and friends. Through racing, he not only found excitement and purpose but also built lifelong friendships with people who became like family. The track was his second home, and the bonds he formed there were as fast and strong as the engines he loved.
Raymond had a big heart and an even bigger personality. Funny, ornery, and a true jokester, he had a way of lighting up every room he entered. He especially loved teaching and guiding his younger brothers, always encouraging them with patience and pride. His role as a big brother was one he took seriously-and always made sure was fun.
His parents, Joe and Jamie, were incredibly proud of the man he was becoming. From the moment he was born, Raymond brought joy, challenge, and purpose to their lives. They admired the way he loved his children unconditionally, the loyalty he showed to his family, and the way he carried himself with grit, humor, and heart. Watching him grow into a loving father, protective brother, and passionate racer filled them with pride every single day. Their love for him is deep, unwavering, and eternal.
Above all, Raymond was a proud and dedicated father. His children, Easton and Oaklynn, were the light of his life. He loved nothing more than being their dad-whether he was playing, teaching, or simply being present, he gave them his whole heart. His love for them was evident in everything he did, and his memory will live on through them always.
Raymond was also a wonderful nephew and cousin, deeply loved by his extended family. He brought energy, laughter, and loyalty to every family gathering and shared a special bond with each of them that will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the John B. Brown Funeral Home, 417 Washington Street, Huntingdon, PA. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Walker Township, Huntingdon.
Raymond's life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and moments that made a lasting impact. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him-especially in the lives of his children, his parents, his brothers, and his family who will carry his memory forward.
