Raymond Allen Jacques, 86 of Beaverton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 15, 2024 at MyMichigan Medical Center of Midland. He was born to the late Raymond H. Jacques and Ethel (Liebrock) Jacques on November 13, 1938 in Saginaw Michigan. On May 9, 1959, he married the love of his life Doris Jean Whitting and they shared 65 loving years together.
Ray retired from the city of Saginaw in 1990 and continued on to become a pastor. He loved the Lord and his congregations. Ray enjoyed fishing and hunting along with camping. He loved working with stained glass and woodworking. He also enjoyed spending time with the family.
He is survived by his wife; Doris Jacques, son; Dean (Kim) Jacques, grandchildren; Katrina Jacques, Kelsey Jacques, Kaitlyn (Wade) Sturgeon, Caleb (Christin) Rinker, Michayla Rinker, great grandchildren; Kami, Kylie, Karly and Wyatt.
Ray is preceded in death by his daughter; Shelly.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00AM on November 21, 2024 at Homer United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael T Sawicki officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Ray will be laid to rest following a graveside committal service at new Edenville cemetery at 2:30 PM.
