Raymond D Willis

Raymond D Willis was born August 26, 1963, in Philadelphia, PA to Veronica and David Willis. He would later reside in Columbus, OH until his untimely passing on Oct 13 , 2025.

As a young boy Raymond enjoyed sports which would lead him to East High School where he attended and played basketball. Although he was a 6’6” athletic giant his soul lived for music. He was a DJ, a band member but all in all a vocalist. He liked to shoot pool, bowl, had a love for watches and cologne and recently developed a love for animals as he worked for ASPCA. He was a die-hard Cameo fan and all things Philly.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Ruby and William Hordge, his parents Veronica and David Willis and brother Rodney “Bo” Willis. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Raynard (Olivia) Brown; his grandson Reggie Brown; sisters, Renee Willis, Hope Mullins, Pattie Willis, Kathy Burgess. Brother, Charles (Cheryl) Willis. Nieces; Unique(Cameron) Reid, Quisha Willis, Alexis Willis, Deaja Draughon, Tylar Willis, Ronada Burgess, Sierra Williams, Kara (Cuba) Quintana Nephew; Rodney Willis. Special friend Loren Colquitt, special cousin Jewellyn Kubi and a host of aunts, great nieces, cousins and friends.
