Raymond Clarence Zeitler November 25, 1932 --- November 8, 2025
Ray passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born to his parents, Fred and Leona Zeitler in Merrill, Michigan. After graduating High School, he enlisted into the US Navy, serving for four year as a Fighter Jet Mechanic. Ray started his career with General Motors, retiring after 32 years. He then helped his brother build houses. Ray was involved over the years with Horse Racing, Motorcycle Racing, and Riding his bike with friends thru-out the country. He then started a new life when he moved from Michigan to Lake George, Colorado to spend time with his son, Jim and daughter-in-law, Sandie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking with his son. He was very proud of the house he built in Colorado and loved living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Ray is survived by his daughter, Karen Comstock, son, Jim Comstock and daughter in law Sandie Comstock, and many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by all 8 of his brothers and sisters, and his son, Raymond Dale Zeitler.
A graveside service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Navy and V.F.W. Post #1859. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Lake George Fire Protection District, P.O. Box 281, Lake George, Colorado 80827. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
