Rebecca "Becky" Rae Watson, age 85, of Seymour, passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 27, 2025
She was born on January 2, 1940 to Harley and Edith (Taft) Green in Milwaukee, WI. Becky graduated from West High School in 1958. In high school, Becky was a member of several organizations, including Job's Daughters. After graduating, she attended Stratton College and received her associates degree in accounting.
Becky was a crafter, loved puzzles, and was an passionate reader. As a highlight, she was able to meet her favorite author, Janet Evanovich. Becky was an avid Packers fan, and had the pleasure of providing home cooked meals for a well loved Packer player. She enjoyed regular lunches with her sister at Red Lobster. Becky adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her title as "Triple G" and being matriarch of a 5 generation family.
Becky is survived by her children: Loni Planert, Ronald Pedersen, Eric Pedersen, Julie (Ron) Herman, Janet (Rahsaan) Peak; grandchildren: Angela (Curt) Van Den Berg, Donnie Planert, Louie Planert, Carl Pedersen, Ronald Herman Jr., Alexandra Herman, Jackson Herman, Maya Peak and Morgan Peak; great-grandchildren: Jennifer Vie, Taylor, Cole, and Ella; great-great grandchildren: Freya and Athena; and her dearest sister, Elaine Green. Becky is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant son, Douglas; siblings: Joyce (Claude) Burgard, Janice (Erv) Kant, and Harley Green; her husband, Spurgeon Watson; her special cousin, Sharon Marshall; and best friend, Bonnie Close.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Memorial Service will take place immediately following at 11:00 am.
