Obituary of Rebecca Jones
Onsted- Rebecca "Susie" Jones, age 67, of Onsted passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian. Susie was born on April 5, 1955, in Adrian, the daughter of Ross and LaWanda (Feldman) Rittenhouse and was a 1973 graduate of Adrian High School. On February 22, 1975, in Adrian, Susie married Bruce Jones and he survives. She had been employed with Adrian Public Schools, retiring after 26 years of service. Susie devoted her time to her family and friends. She attended Hope Lutheran and Crossroads Community Church. Susie enjoyed crocheting and traveling, especially to the Florida Keys and Gatlinburg, TN. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for the courageousness she showed throughout her lifetime and especially during her illness.
In addition to her husband of 47 years, Bruce, she is survived by her son, Matt (Michelle) Jones of Royal Oak and three grandchildren, Lena, Eli, and Claudia Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Susie will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Pastor Paul Herter officiating. Burial will be held in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
