Rebecca R. McPherson, 84, Gas City, passed away in her home at 3:27 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was born in Greenfield, Indiana, on Monday, June 17, 1940, to Ray and Louise Wolfe. She married Ralph McPherson who preceded her.
Rebecca graduated from Shelbyville High School and worked as an RN for 50 years with Twin City Healthcare in Gas City. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and camping. She was a local hall of fame bowler and loved to play video games. She really loved taking the grandkids shopping.
Survivors include her sons, Mike McPherson of Gas City, Pat (Dawnita Artis) McPherson of Marion; grandchildren, Mitchell McPherson of Rockledge, FL, Danielle (Chris) Wilkes of Fairmount, Brittany (Mike Kramer) McPherson of Marion, and Joni (Brock) Idlewine of Gas City.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Louise Wolfe.
At her request, there will be no services at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
