Rebecca Rafferty, 59, of Red Oak, IA passed away June 4, 2025 at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center in Red Oak. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern is caring for Becky and her family.
OBITUARY
Rebecca Sue Rafferty, 59 of Red Oak, IA, formerly of Malvern, IA, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the Red Oak Rehab Center in Red Oak.
Becky was born on September 16, 1965 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, the daughter of Thomas Robert "Bob" Rafferty and Mary Francis (McLaughlin) Rafferty. She grew up in Malvern and graduated from Malvern High School with the Class of 1984.
Becky enjoyed Native American art, crocheting, playing games on her phone, and visiting with her family and friends. She didn't know a stranger.
Becky was preceded in death by her father Bob; mother Mary; stepfather John Wiseman; infant brother Michael Rafferty; infant sister Betty Rafferty; sisters, Patricia Rafferty, and Tracy Rafferty; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Becky is survived by her sister Teresa Hertz and husband Karl "KE" of Kodiak, AK; nephew Jakob Hertz of Kodiak, AK; nieces, Megan Hertz of Spokane, WA, and Kiley Hertz of Kodiak, AK; and several special friends.
