The funeral service will be held Friday in the Farmer Funeral Chapel in Ayden. Burial will follow in the Worthington Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 PM until the funeral hour at Farmer Funeral Home.
Becky grew up in the Ayden community. She attended Winterville School, E.B. Aycock, and Pitt Community College. She enjoyed playing the piano, riding her bike, board games and puzzles. She especially loved going out to eat with her family. After the passing of her parents, Becky went to live in the Caswell Developmental Center in Kinston, where she enjoyed participating in many different jobs and activities.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, William, Jr. and Dorothy Worthington; and brother, William Franklin Worthington, III.
She is survived by her sisters, Rose Marie Nichols of Fayetteville, and Minnie Lue Sumerlin and husband, Gordon, of Belhaven; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
