Regina Kay Tanner joined her late husband Bruce in eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was a lifelong resident of Jessamine County born on August 27, 1958 to the late Sherman Peel Sr. and Edith Peel. She retired in December after 46 years from Baptist Healthcare. She was also known for her dedication to her family and friends and was a caregiver by nature. The light of her life was Tommy Willis and her grandchildren, where she acquired the name "Gigi". She had a passion for being outdoors, riding horses, camping, gardening & farming. Her memories will be cherished forever by her family. Her mother, Edith Peel, her other half of 18 years Tommy Willis. Her children, Ashley Tanner (Michael May), Ross Tanner (Ashley), bonus sons, Tucker Willis (Ashley) and Blaine Willis (Andrea), a sister, Susanne Peel Morgan (Gary). Her grandchildren Tanner, Bryce, Luke, Currie, J.T., Walker, Daisy and Boone. Along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Peel Sr., a brother, Sherman "Butch" Peel Jr., and her late husband Bruce E. Tanner. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Bruce in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens on Thursday, June 19. 2025. Honoring her as pall-bearers will be Dwight Willis, Nathan Ridgway, John Conn, Emery Mast, Tanner Dykes and Michael May. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18 ,2025 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and services will be Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00AM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
