Regina C. Rawlins, 85, of Bay City, Michigan, passed away at her residence on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Born November 1, 1939, in Bay City to the late John and Josephine (Adamowski) Divo, Regina grew up with a strong sense of family and a warm, generous spirit. On August 31, 1957, she married the love of her life, Thomas Rawlins, and they shared nearly 58 years together before his passing on April 5, 2015.
Regina found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved camping, working on puzzles, reading books, and sharing weekly dinners with her daughter, Sue. Her life was rich in love for her family, who will forever cherish her memory.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Cris) VanSumeren; her grandchildren, Chance, Nina, and Dominic VanSumeren, and Chasidy Stevens; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jack Divo.
Regina was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon VanSumeren; her sister, Emma (Bob) Bartlett; and her brothers, Andrew (Jean) Divo and Bill Divo.
A private committal has taken place at St. Patrick's Cemetery. In accordance with Regina's wishes, no visitation was held. Arrangements were entrusted to Ambrose Funeral Home, 1200 Garfield Avenue, Bay City, Michigan 48708.
She will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family - a legacy that will live on in every life she touched.
