Regineld Nails Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory - Douglas Chapel on Apr. 21, 2025.
Regineld Chad Nails, age 57, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on March 27, 2025. He was born on September 19, 1967, to Larry and Dianne Nails.
Chad worked for many years as a sales associate at Lowes, Home Depot, and ABC Supply, as well as an employee at Publix. His friendly demeanor and strong work ethic made him well-liked and respected among everyone in the community. He also used his career as mission work, by taking every opportunity to pray for and serve his clients, coworkers, and customers. He was known for his humble and kind nature, but also for his passion of debating politics, making people laugh, and dancing.
Outside of work, Chad enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. However, his greatest joy came from being with his children and grandchildren. Chad was the most intentional and devoted father to his four children: Mackenzie, Madelyn, Mason, and Maxwell. He was a proud "Poppy" to his two granddaughters, Mayla and Jaycie Jerkins. Chad's legacy of love and devotion to his family will live on through the countless fond memories he created with them and the way he led by example. He is also survived by his mother, Diane Nails, brother, Jason Nails, sons in law, Aaron Jerkins and Matt Leahey, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and many great friends; who all adored him. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Crossroads Church in Douglasville, Georgia, followed by the funeral service, which will begin shortly after the visitation. Chad will be remembered for his warmth, his generosity of spirit, and his unshakable love for his family. Although he is absent from the Earth, we all know that he was greeted by the Lord with "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
