Renee Carol Edbrooke

Renee Carol Edbrooke (Ziesemer), 67, passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2025, in Appleton. Renee was born on September 11, 1958, to LeRoy and Virginia (Anton) Ziesemer. She graduated from Appleton West High School and UW-Oshkosh. She had many jobs throughout her life, but her most fulfilling one was teaching elementary students, whether as a full time educator in Wrightstown, a substitute teacher in the Appleton School District, or helping with Sunday School at First English Lutheran Church.
Renee enjoyed a life full of arts and crafts, creating cross-stitch and crochet projects as well as water coloring and especially beadwork. Her dogs Zoey and Freddie were also a constant source of joy to her. Renee's own delight in making memories with family was evident in all aspects of her life, from numerous outings to Door County, countless nights spent around the dining room table engaged in card games of Sheepshead, and debating the merits of her favorite contestant on Great British Baking Show during cozy evenings with her son.
Renee is survived by her mother, Ginny; her brother Bruce Ziesemer (Marie Murphy); her son Michael (Kimberly) Fredericks; her grandson Quentin Fredericks; and many other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her father LeRoy, and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service for Renee will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, 606 N Oneida Street, with Pastor Mary Bauer Officiating. Friends and family may visit starting at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
