Reva Bernice Collier, 93, of Stilesville, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2023, at IU Health West Hospital. She was born in Monrovia on November 17, 1929, to the late Orville Williams Gibbs and Ethel Marie (Phillips) Thompson. Reva married Howard Leroy Collier on September 20, 1947, and he preceded her in death in June.

Reva worked as a school crossing guard in Lafayette and cleaned for Purdue University. She was a member of Mooresville Church of Christ for over 20 years. Reva loved being outside. She enjoyed feeding hummingbirds and fishing. Reva was an excellent baker, especially her yeast rolls and peach cobblers. She will be dearly missed by her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Reva is preceded in death by sons, Lee and Donald Collier; brothers, Ralph, Cecil, and Carol Jean Gibbs; and sister, Reta Hart.

Survivors include her son, Ralph (Jan) Collier; daughters, Tammy Lutsko and Teresa Bynam; daughter-n-laws, Wilma Collier and Kristin Collier; brother-in-law, Bill Hart; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, July 31, 2023 at Mooresville Church of Christ, 720 N Indianapolis Road, Mooresville, with Ron Roberts officiating.
