Rex Keysor Obituary

Rex was born December 2, 1969 in Lima to Roger and Connie (Lambert) Miller; his father preceded him in death and his mother survives him in Elida.
Rex attended Shawnee High School and he was a self-employed carpet layer. He was a certified Correctional Rehabilitation Counselor who could help people reentering society from the prison system. Rex loved music, especially going to concerts and singing. He enjoyed reading a good book and, most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family. He was "Uncle Rex" to everyone and children loved him. Rex was always welcome in everyone's home and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Rex's family is comforted knowing that he saved two lives through his gift of organ donation.
In addition to his mother, Rex is survived by his siblings, Tracy L. Keysor, Suzy Keysor, Todd Michael "Mike" Keysor, Chad E. Keysor, Lora (William) Eustler, Michael (Dawn) Miller, Brian Miller, David Keysor, Carman (Jeff) Foght and Larry (Donna) Keysor, Jr.; special nephew, Alex, (Angelica) Stoyonovich; many nieces and nephews and many friends, especially those at the 13 Step House in Ft. Wayne.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Keysor, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2023 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES - SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
