Rexhep Hoxha

Rexhep Haxhi Hoxha, age 92, of Skokie, born in Markat, Albania passed away on January 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Difo, nee Hyso; cherished father of Xhemal (Remo), Avdulla (Mino), Murvedete (Rick), Agim, Fatmire, and the late Ilmas and Naxhi; adored grandfather "Gjishi" of eight, proud great-grandfather of four, and very dear Xhaxha, Dajko, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents Haxhi and Xhane, and dear brother Hiqimet. Rexhep was a strong man with a big heart, who never met a stranger, and was loved and respected by all who knew him. Rexhep will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19th from 10am-12pm followed by a funeral service at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
