Rexie Lee Folmar

Rexie Lee Folmar age 90 was born on January 10, 1935, to Rex and Bernice (Burleson) Folmar in Winkler, TX. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 11, 2025, in Corsicana. He married the love of his life Mona Jo Rash on October 2, 1953. Together they shared 59 years of love before her death in 2012.
Rex graduated from Mildred High School in 1953. He began his work career in the oil field and later became a farmer. Rex and Mona raised produce for Corsicana Farmer's Market for many years. Rex was also a gifted woodworker.
Survivors include his son Kenny (Ginny) Folmar, daughter Rhonda Gardner, daughter in law Tracy Folmar.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mona Jo, son Brent Folmar and his parents Rex and Bernice.
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Laura (Stuart) Smith, Bethany (Josh) Martin, Emily (Nolan) Nahidi, Lance (Michelle) Gardner, Megan (Justin) Jennings, Logan (Brittnie) Gardner, Hunter (Chelsea) Folmar, Houston Folmar (Sheldon Stewart).
Rex was also blessed with 21 great grandchildren.
Services are June 17 at Corley's Funeral Home with visitation at 10:00 followed by celebration of life at 11:00.
Burial will be at Eureka cemetery. Services will be conducted by Jonathan Cobb.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons and grandsons in law, Stuart Smith, Josh Martin, Nolan Nahidi, Lance Gardner, Justin Jennings, Logan Gardner, Hunter Folmar, Sheldon Stewart.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are great grandsons, Gabriel Gardner, Brady Martin, Walker Smith, Slade Martin, Lawson Jennings, Hudson Gardner, Texas Gardner, Finley Gardner, Knox Jennings, and Beckett Gardner.
