Ricardo "Ricky" Rangel, 43, of San Antonio met his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rosary being said at 6:00 PM. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2022 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylano, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mr. Rangel was born on January 3, 1979 in San Angelo to Ricardo and Janie Rangel. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1998 and received a band scholarship for playing the drums. Ricky attended the University of Texas and Angelo State University. He worked as an Electronics Technician for U. S. Well Services of San Angelo. Ricky enjoyed hunting, working out with his children, riding his motorcycle, smoking a mean brisket, riding bikes, and Dancing. He was a fun grandpa, stubborn, had a big heart, and was very particular with his things. Ricky loved the Dallas Cowboys, taking selfies and his Yorkie, Bam Bam.
He is survived by his wife, Irma of San Antonio, his twins, Crista Rangel and Tristan Rangel both of San Antonio; three sons, Christian Ojeda, Seth Ojeda, and Ikaika Viesca all of San Antonio; his parents, Ricardo and Janie Rangel of San Angelo; his two brothers, Christopher Rangel and wife Somer and Joseph Rangel all of San Angelo, his two grandchildren, Emerie Viesca and Jacob Viesca both of San Antonio; his niece and nephew, Brooklyn and Kane; and his godson, Orion.
