Richard Amon Obituary
Richard was born on February 24, 1951, in Munich, Germany. His parents, Leroy Elmer Amon and Lucille Crook Amon, and brother, Bobby Amon, preceded him in death. He retired as a forklift driver for Illinois Glass. Richard loved watching westerns, going to the park with grandchildren, listening to Elvis, going fishing, and singing karaoke.
Survivors include his loving girlfriend, Nancy Hatchett; sons and their spouses, Shannon Lee Amon, Richard Leon Amon, Dennis and Jennifer Gambrell, Dustin and Marie Gambrell, and Derek and Billie Jo Gambrell; 13 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Jimmy Payton; and several nieces and nephews.
No formal services will be held at this time.
