Pratt - Richard Wayne Becker, 84, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. He was born on June 14, 1941 in McPherson to Herman Tobias and Lelah Hazel (Hein) Becker. Richard married Barbara Mae (Larson) Becker on November 6, 1959 in McPherson. They were married for 65 years.
Richard graduated from McPherson High School. He moved to Pratt in 1965 and started Becker Roofing. Richard and Barbara spent many days watching sporting events of Kevin, Keith and Tommy's children. He loved sponsoring Becker Roofing Softball. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a collector of many different items. (old clocks, tins, bottles, jars) He will be remembered for his delicious fish fry's, witty sense of humor, and love he shared with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Becker of Pratt; sons, Kevin (Stephanie) Becker of Pratt and Keith Becker of Derby; daughter in-law, Mary Becker of Pratt; siblings, Lois (Gerald) Andrews, Mary Ellen Patrick, Carolyn (Ed) McCullough, Larry Becker, Rita (Ed) Holmberg, Linda (Ron) Selman, Carl (Janice) Becker; grandchildren, Kyle (Stacie) Becker, Cody (Jenny) Becker, Kaylee Becker, Carson Becker, Cheyenne (Josh) Langford, Blake (Brianna) Becker, Braydon Becker, Breann (Josh) Norlin and Adison Becker; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Becker; siblings, Katheryn, Robert, Herman, Donnie, Galen, Dorothy, Ethel Maye, Lucena and Merlin; and a great-granddaughter, Mila Jane Ibarra.
Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
