Richard D. Callahan, age 90, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his residence, with his loving daughter by his side.
Born January 20, 1935, in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Margarite Callahan.
He married the former Donna Frye on January 20, 1962 and she preceded him in death on October 16, 2018.
Richard worked for Sharon Steel, as a payload driver for 46 years. He enjoyed woodworking and painting and was very creative.
Surviving is a daughter, Julie L. Negrea, of Sharon, PA, two grandchildren, Rick (Ali) and Kaylee and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his mother and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, two sisters Sandy and Roberta and two grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time.
Arrangements are being handled by the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146.
