Richard A. Chicone age 86, of Wickliffe, passed away Feb. 22, 2025 at Brookdale of Wickliffe. He was born June 6, 1938 in Cleveland and lived in Euclid before moving to Wickliffe. Richard loved to fish, especially fly fishing in local rivers. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being a grandfather and being a caregiver for Kylie while her parents were at work. He served two tours in the US Army because of the Berlin Crisis in 1961. He was an auto mechanic alongside his brother, Bob.
Richard is the beloved husband of the late Joyce G. (nee Mueller); dear father of Rich (Rachael) Chicone and Debra (Rick) Burns; grandfather of Joshua and Jack Chicone and Kylie Burns; brother of Bob (deceased) (wife Joy); uncle and great uncle; he is also survived by his grand dog, Hank.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday Feb. 26, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. The family will receive friends at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the Make A Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
