Richard "Dick" Davis, 81, of Tampa, earned his wings on September 7th, at the LifePath Hospice House, Temple Terrace, Florida
Dick was born on June 10, 1943, in Huntingburg, Indiana and moved to Tampa in 1986.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife, of almost 37 years, Glenda Davis, his stepson, Ira Fenley: his two children - daughter, Stephanie Gray: and stepson, Ron Young, from a previous marriage, two sisters, Lavon Case, of Indiana, Ardella Curtsinger of Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In 1986 he met the love of his life, Glenda, and they married in 1987.
Throughout his career, he formed many successful relationships and left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Dick cherished time with his wife, Glenda, enjoyed travel, sipping coffee throughout the day, and watching the History Channel, RFD-TV or any NFL football games. His love for country music was unmatched, he especially loved group lunches with the Palmetto Beach Group.
Anyone who knew Dick knew that he had never met a stranger, and his love for both people and animals was well known.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the LifePath Hospice House in Temple Terrace for the special care they provided to Dick and his loved ones during his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the coming months to honor Dick's memory.

Glenda, God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I had not spent a lot of time with Richard, but the time i did was always enjoyable, especially when all of us went camping . And how we played games and fished, i remember all the laughter even though Richard, had a hard time walking and in pain it didn't stop him from having a good time, I admired him for that . He was a fine man im happy i was able to get to know him I knew he had to be special and I know he Dearly loved my friend his wife Glenda.
