We are so very sad to learn of Rick´s passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Carol and Rick´s family.

Rick was a great friend and a really good roommate in and outside the Sammy house. If there´s one thing I will remember about him, it´s that you could count on Rick to help you no matter what the task or situation. He was that way with everybody. I´ll never forget he helped Parthene and I move from Raleigh to Baltimore in 1987. He gladly sacrificed his time to help, and I don´t think we could have done it without him.

Take care, Rick. You were a great friend for so many years. We love you and will miss you.
