I could write a book! Ricky was always the life of the party. He always made people laugh. At Jordan Park pool, when we were kids, Ricky would always sneak up behind us and yank our bathing suites down to our ankles (usually when we were talking to a girl) and then run away laughing.

Uncle Ricky was a character, he showed his ways of affection in the strangest ways but we knew he loved my little sister my little brother and I very much. He knew when I was upset and knew how my head space worked and he did just the right things to cheer me up and make me laugh and smile, he always called me a dork and messed with me in the most hysterical ways, he really was someone special to us all. I'm gonna miss our old fishing trips and he always wanted to get me more into hunting more into nature and I loved that about him. He was always too headstrong and stubborn and never let anything bring him down and that's something I would look for in a role model when I was younger and I appreciate everything he's ever done for me. I miss you uncle Rick and I love you so so much!

He was one of the funniest NCO´s I had the pleasure of serving with. There was never a dull moment in the motor T shop. You will be sorely missed SFC Hahn. When I first came into the unit, you showed me the ropes and I will never forget your guidance as a young enlisted soldier. Rest easy, brother.

Dolly, Kim, and Tracy I will forever remember Rick as a young boy riding his bike being the annoying little brother to all the gang on Liberty street. Your whole family welcomed us and we all felt like a part of your family. As we all grew up and life led us in different directions, we often reminisce about those wonderful memories and our trips to Atlantic City. Rick was a little brother to us all. May the Lord be with your family during this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to Rick´s family! I met him my first weekend as a new lieutenant. He was being Rick and asked me what I was doing. I told him I was bored and asked what he was doing. He spent the time to show me what was required to service the equipment that he was working on and let me help. After that day, he was continually being told not to get the lieutenants dirty. He was a good man that was funny and always ready to help others. He will be missed.
