Richard Harrison, a cherished husband, devoted father and doting grandfather, passed away on April 20th, 2025, at the age of 73 in Dover, Delaware. Born on February 14th, 1952, in Albany, Georgia. Richard's life was a testament to the love he had for God and his family.
Richard was a man of integrity and diligence with working in the paving industry after graduating from Queen Anne's County High School.
His faith was very important to him. He served as Assistant Pastor at Greensboro Pentecostal Church of God. Sharing the love and Word of God was a passion and a fire that never faded, neither did his dedication to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Richard was a bass fisherman, a hunter and a golfer. His love for the outdoors were all opportunities for him to be alone with God or making memories with family.
Described by his family as loving, thoughtful, and selfless, Richard lived his life always putting others first. His warm presence was a comfort in their home, always lending an ear to listen and Godly counsel.
Richard's family was his world. He leaves behind his true love, his wife Mona Lisa with whom he shared almost 55 years of bliss with his best friend. He also leaves behind his three children, Faye June, Richard, and Bessie Lena. Richard was also blessed with three grandchildren, Naylor Christian, Priscilla Faye, and MonaLisa that he stepped in and raised with strong Christian values. He did not think his heart could get any bigger until his great granddaughters, Donna Faye, CharlieBabe and the anticipated Macy Jean.
His departure leaves a void that cannot be filled but the memories he created will continue to comfort us. Richard's life was a journey full of love, laughter, and selflessness. Until we meet again.
