Richard Jarrett Jr., 85, of Woodstock, GA, departed this life peacefully on August 17, 2025, at home with his beloved wife and his buddy, Rocky.

He was born on February 1, 1940, in Brownsville, PA, the son of Richard Jarrett Sr. and Evelyn Williams Jarrett.

Richard briefly served as a law enforcement officer and was the floor manager for Trump Casino and Resort in New Jersey for 3 years. He attended First Baptist Church of Marietta.

Richard honorably served in the Army Air Force Special Forces for 12 years.

He married Robyn "Shelly" Clark-Jarrett on November 3, 2022, with whom he lovingly spent his last days with. Besides his wife of Woodstock, he leaves to mourn one sister Mary Jarrett-Royster of Warren, Ohio; one brother Lawrence (Marilyn) Jarrett of New Jersey; one son Curtis (Charlene) Brown of Austin, Texas; two granddaughters and two grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Lawrence Jarrett Jr., one sister Mildred Jarrett-Madison, and one brother-in-law Cleophus "Spike" Royster.
