Lila, Greg and Curtis,
My deepest sympathies to your family. I am sorry for your loss of Richard Kastens. (Uncle Dick)
I´m wishing you much strength and peace as you navigate through this time of loss. My heart goes out to you.
I will always remember Uncle Dick´s warm heart and bright fun smile, his sense of humor was great. He was a handsome fella. I always will always remember how he used to tease me and we´d laugh. He always had a funny joke, he always had a way of getting everyone to laugh and have much happiness, and joy. I´ll never forget special family memories of us all together. Your trips to Colorado to visit us. Times at Christmas in Kiowa at the Kastens homestead. Too many great memories of Uncle Dick and I´ll cherish them forever. He was one of my favorite uncles. I´m grateful to have been his niece.
He was a great brother to my Dad, Samuel Kastens. I´m grateful for this. They were quite close and I know my Dad will miss him dearly. So much love and bond between these brothers.
May you find peace and comfort knowing how much Richard (Uncle Dick) was loved by so many.
You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, remember that you are not alone.
I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know Uncle Dick, and experience his kindness, humor, caring and love.
If there´s anything I can do to help during this time, please reach out.
Uncle Dick will be missed by all. May he rest in peace. Good bye Uncle Dick. I love you, love your Niece,
Sherri Kastens
