Richard A. Kasza

Richard A. Kasza, age 70, of Erie, passed away at his home lovingly surrounded by his family following a long battle with heart failure on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born in Poland on February 1, 1954, son of the late Wiktor and Janina Kasza. He immigrated to the United States in 1982 and worked hard to live out his "American dream".

Richard was employed at Zurn Industries for over 20 years, and then Plastek for 10 years prior to retirement. His hobbies included cooking and his specialty was making Polish sausage. Richard enjoyed photography and was a jack of all trades in home projects and could fix anything. He also had a huge collection of 20 fish tanks.

Richard is survived by his wife of 34 years, Danuta Kasza; two sons, Adrian and Sebastian Kasza; two stepdaughters, Karolina Niedobecka and Monika Monse; one sister, Krystyna Stasica; three grandchildren, Nicole, Natalya and Liam; and one niece, Ania.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 4 to 7 pm. A private interment will be held.
