Richard Stephen Layton Jr., 46, of Linesville passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2025.
Born August 28, 1978, in Cranberry Township, he was the son of Linda Michele Layton and Richard Stephen Layton Sr.
He was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Harmony, Pennsylvania.
Richard enjoyed fishing with Matt Lewis, collecting and selling sports cards, going to flea markets, bowling and golfing. He loved going to concerts and was learning to play the guitar. Most of all he loved being a father.
Survivors include his wife, Haley, they married on May 17, 2018 in Meadville; his son, Gage Layton; step-daughter, Kiera Hauxwell; sister, Rhonda Layton Kuehn and her husband, Scott Kuehn; niece, Haylee Kuehn; and nephew, Parker Kuehn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
