Richard P. McConnell., Sun City, Arizona. Born to William N & Edith R McConnell October 9, 1933 in Brookline, MA. He served in the Korean War 1953-1955. Graduated from Boston University 1959. Retired at age 55 as Vice President/Part Owner- Westwood Insurance Agency, Inc., Westwood, MA. Moved to Arizona full time in 2001 and spent 23 summers in Show Low, AZ. Resident of Royal Oaks Life Care since January 2016. Favorite pastime included golf and dancing.
Loving husband of Maura A. for 40 years. Predeceased by brothers William N (CT) and Robert (AZ) and son Scott (MA). Also survived by daughter Jan (MA), grandson Ryan (MA) and nieces Susan, Janet, Pam, Michelle, Sharon, Lynne, Karen, Camilla and Jenna and nephews John, Bobbie, Chris, Tim, Keith, Kevin, Robert, Kieran, Julian, and several grand nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be March 5, 2025 at 9AM at Menke Funeral Home 12420 N 103rd Ave Sun City, Arizona.
Funeral Service will March 5, 2025 at 10 AM at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City.
Burial will be on March 6, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona located at 23029 N Cave Creek Road Phoenix, Arizona 85024 with Military Honors.
