Richard Retzler Obituary

Rich graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami – Class of 1958. He married the love of his life, Loretta, in 1960, and they later welcomed three boys. He completed his service with the United States Army in 1968 and made a career with Nabisco. He was a lover of sports and enjoyed cheering on the Hurricanes and Dolphins. He also spent a lot of his free time on the golf course. Rich and Loretta headed to the Villages in 2000 and enjoyed many years in the community, full of activities and lots of friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta Retzler.
Rich is survived by his three sons and their wives, Michael and Nadeen Retzler of West Palm Beach, FL, Donald and Marta Retzler of Stuart, Florida, and Patrick and Kim Retzler of West Palm Beach, Florida. His grandchildren, Heather Retzler (Felipe Morales), James Retzler, Eric Retzler, Zachary Retzler, Tyler Retzler, Bradley Storck, and Taylor Storck. His great grandchildren, Scarlett Morales, Felipe Morales and Creek Maupin.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:30-11am with a celebration of life service to follow at 11 am, located at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 1008 Bichara Blvd. The Villages, FL 32159.
