Richard Michael Robinson

Richard M. Robinson, 67, of Hernando, Mississippi passed away on February 26, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born on January 11, 1958, in Madrid, Spain, Rick led a life filled with warmth, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends. After he graduated from Florida State University, his career began in the hotel and restaurant industry, where he quickly rose to the role of banquet manager. He used these skills throughout his life, throwing birthday parties, celebration dinners, and spectacular weddings for his daughters. Later in his career, Rick transitioned into the telecommunications industry, where he worked until his retirement in 2020.
Rick's love for life was evident in everything he did. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and attended countless games with his family, including Opening Day and the 2013 World Series Game 5. Rick loved music. He played the piano and percussion and supported his wife and daughters in their own musical pursuits, making sure to never miss a performance. They attended many concerts together, including several Warped Tours. Rick found joy in being outside grilling, gardening, and golfing. He had a deep love for his beagles: Freddie, Minnie, Max, Lucky, Marco, and Deacon. He also loved being a "poodle granddad" to Louie.
Above all else, Rick was a devoted husband to Lynne Robinson and a loving father to Katherine Robinson (Morgan Shaw) and Maddie Caserta (Michael Caserta). He took immense pride in being an amazing grandfather to Leo and Eliza Caserta. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Kuhn and brother Tim Robinson. He is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Tim Robinson and his sister Katie Robinson.
Rick's kindness knew no bounds-he was generous with his time and resources and always willing to lend a helping hand to those he cared about. He had a great sense of humor with a sharp wit. He showed love through acts of service; no task was too big or too small if it meant supporting the people he cherished most. His most precious gift to those he loved is his constant presence in their lives.
Rick's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts and actions of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a place near and dear to his heart.
